About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Presales Consultant to join our Integrated GTM team, supporting HCLTech’s Digital Business Services (DBS) BU. The ideal candidate will drive deals across DBS, work closely with practice leaders and technical subject matter experts to identify gaps in offerings, develop GTM strategies, and create compelling pitches for new offerings and solutions. This role requires a strong understanding of Gen AI led service transformation, Cloud Modernization, Platform Engineering, Data and Analytics, Digital Engineering, DevOps, and Agile methodologies, alongside a keen market understanding.
Key Responsibilities:
Bid Management
- Understand Digital transformation RFX requirements, identify the right Practice / COE teams to be onboarded
- Manage the bid pursuits end to end including stakeholder management, R&R definition across multiple teams (Account management team, GTMs, Practice and COE members, Day zero delivery teams), driving bid timelines, submissions, reviews, and communications
- Scribe responses - Articulate differentiators, case studies, solution constructs. Identify correct fitment of IPs and service offerings
- Create competitive pricing proposals
Practice Building Initiatives
- Identify key trends in Digital transformation areas like, Gen AI, Cloud Modernization, Data and Analytics, contribute ideas for new product offerings, solutions & services
- Contribute to IPs and solution creation, help articulate value propositions
- Contribute to the marketing and branding efforts for HCLTech’ s DBS and ERS line of business
- Participate in Analyst conversations (Gartner, Forrester, IDC et al.) Support analyst RFI responses and briefings
- Build an understanding of industry domains and articulate capabilities in alignment with industry imperatives
Operational Excellence
- Assimilate knowledge across pursuits and build re-usable components to reduce the time-to-market for RFP/ RFI response
- Identify common themes in customer pain areas do drive better solution articulations
- Contribute to the knowledge management activities by creating case studies, success stories, point of views et al by liaising with sales and delivery teams across accounts.
- Enable and drive standard bid practices, templates and processes in all pursuits, and continuous improvements in sales support
Qualifications:
- Experience: 3+ years of experience in presales, strategy, or GTM roles, with a focus on Gen AI led Service Transformation, Data and Analytics, Cloud Modernization, SRE, Digital Engineering, DevOps, and Agile.
- Industry Knowledge: In-depth understanding of the IT services landscape, with proven experience in both Digital Business Services and Engineering Services.
- Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead strategic initiatives, influence cross-functional teams, and drive results in a complex, matrixed organization.
- Analytical Skills: Proficiency in market analysis, strategic planning, and identifying trends and opportunities within the IT services industry.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly and persuasively to senior stakeholders.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., AWS, Azure, ITIL, PMP) would be an advantage.
